Let me provide some feedback as an Asian on the food from my hometown. This place is quite traditional and some food are really special. First of all Chinese people don't consider gingerbeef and stuff Chinese food so if you are trying to taste some traditional custom dish don't ask for something similar to that. start with the ingredients then the method of cooking, you can ask for something The Chinese dishes are better eaten at the restaurant and there is actual difference if you ask for takeout.
Some suggestions of custom dishes lamb soup, cold mixed dish, and the pan fried bun. -

Only place in Cochrane that I can get real Chinese food. Their real Chinese food menu are great. Ask for the special menu if you want to try real Chinese food.

The good... delivery service was prompt and friendly. The food came hot and the portions were big.
The bad... bland food and the Chinese owner has poor service skills over the phone. It's common for Chinese customers to ask for recommendations to customize dishes, even for delivery. When I asked the owner if she had any recommendations she just answered back with a heated attitude of, "I could do anything, what do you want?" Nothing like Ginger Beef, Ho Won or Silver Dragon in Calgary. These places have great recommendations for changing up common dishes, making their food way more authentic and custom. The owner here doesn't execute well on this, answering back with impetulance. Prices were on par with other places in Calgary.
The ugly... none. Overall, the food was just mediocre, nothing horrible. The service was made up by the person who delivered to my door.
Try this place again? I think I'll drive into Calgary or make my own. -

Hadn't been here in years and ordered some ginger beef for my sister who loves Chinese food. After reading the health reviews we were weary but my sister insisted she wanted their ginger beef. It showed up on time and came in an aluminum container. Now, I'm not sure if it was the container or the food, but it tasted so off, almost bad. We had about two bites and it found a home in the trash can. Would not recommend :(

Right up front I'm going to say that we went at an off hour, 2 pm. However, that doesn't really explain the taste nor empty pans, just the dried up food. From what we were able to try (as most of the trays were empty), the food was mediocre at best.
If this is the best Calgary has to offer (which I highly doubt) than I'm not eating anymore Chinese food here. Pretty tasteless, dried up and sparse. Another thing I found odd was the lack of vegetable dishes. I've lived in china and they're pretty healthy folks. Most buffets I've gone to have at least 3 vege dishes. This place had one, bland cauliflower/bok choy mix. We won't return and I was surprised by the good reviews on here. Maybe something changed since then, who knows.
